MIOT International unveils a World-Class Eye-Care Facility in Seychelles
In this journey, we observed the arrival of regular patients for treatment of a variety of ailments, large or small. It presented an opportunity where we could provide a unique, world class health facility at Seychelles itself. Dr. Prithvi Mohandas personally studied the healthcare landscape of the country and its epidemiology. And then concluded that a holistic, state of the art eyecare facility would be the perfect facility which was needed there.
For the development of the facility, it was imperative to Dr. Prithvi Mohandas he finds partners whose ethos aligns with that of MIOT for this to be a success. And that is how VISUS Optical, Seychelles was. VISUS Optical has been a leading optometrist at Seychelles and works with the goal to eradicate preventable blindness in Seychelles, which is a World Health Organization goal for 2020.
And thus, with the support and the wish of the Honourable President of Seychelles, the prescience and the hard work of Dr. Prithvi Mohandas and the expertise of Ms. Lisa Chetty was born a facility that would change the way Seychelles would see. With immense pride and joy MIOT International is proud to present to the nation of Seychelles.

Care from the beginning
The clinic has been well thought through and set up for the convenience and bearing the eye care needs of Seychellois. The very location of the clinic is proof of this. The clinic is located at the heart of the City in the Espace building. Moreover, exclusive parking for the patients has been made available near the clinic for the ease of access.
An uplifting atmosphere
At the clinic, the safety and care of the patient begins as soon as they enter. The design of the clinic has been envisioned to provide all round holistic eyecare to the patients. For which a variety of treatments are provided under one roof, at global standards. Patients are first greeted and welcomed at the reception. They are led to a spacious waiting area, while they are assigned to be checked. Patients are assigned to our trained optometrists, who record the patient history and complaints.
